This new couples only resort will be up to par with the Sandals Resorts brand we know and love. This property was formerly a Sandals resort, then was operated as the Jewel Dunn’s River, and now has returned to the Sandals portfolio. Sandals has acquired this property for $30 million and I’m positive they will put the money to good use into this resort. Ocho Rios
A former fishing village, Ocho Rios is now a resort with a cruise ship harbor and a busy bay beach that’s lined with hotels. In this secluded spot, filled with the Earth’s abundance, love flows naturally. While most first time travelers to Jamaica spend time in Montego Bay, you may be looking for something different when you return. A 2-hour drive east from Montego Bay, Ocho Rios was once a small banana and fishing port. Tourism is now the leading industry. With Ocho Rios being the cruise ship capital of Jamaica, many tour companies operate there.

When you stay at Sandals Dunn’s River, you’ll enjoy all of the restaurants and amenities of Sandals Ochi. With that privilege, you’ll have access to 28 restaurants, 22 whirlpools, 13 pools, and 20 bars. Even if you stay a full week, you’ll have a hard time taking advantage of everything! Most of these restaurants I have not heard of before and have never eaten at them at a Sandals property before. Very excited to try some new flavors!
