Hotel Andra – Seattle Boutique Hotel

Hotel Andra is a sophisticated, stylish downtown Seattle hotel offering world-class service and a charming boutique hotel atmosphere. It was the perfect hotel stay for my Seattle Girls Trip! The cozy “living room” lobby was the perfect escape from a rainy, gray day. It was also a nice reprieve from the bustling 4th Avenue. With the fireplace on, the ambiance was *chef’s kiss*. In the mornings, we grabbed nearby coffee (Starbucks was the only option open – but there’s a gazillion coffee shops nearby!) and sat in the lobby to talk. Friendly service at check in. Even when we needed towels later on in our stay, it was never an issue.

Accommodations

Hotel Andra offers 123 guest rooms and hotel suites featuring nice amenities including FACE Stockholm bath products. You’ll notice the Scandinavian design style throughout the hotel so the bath amenities fit this image perfectly. My girls and I stayed in one of the Andra rooms (~250 square feet) with two queen beds and a spacious 8-foot desk work area. If you wanted to splurge, you could absolutely upgrade to a Superia room, Lux Suite, or Monarch Suite.

The guestrooms feature subtle Scandinavian design with light woods and calming textures such as rattan cane headboards, linen pillows and throws, and linen drapery. Fine linens on the bed and white goose down bedding – make for a good night’s sleep! In the closet, you’ll find spa robes, hairdryer, private safe, iron board, USB outlets, and individual climate control. The lighting was minimal but it was nice and relaxing. The window let in a lot of natural light as well for those seeking more light.

Eat + Drink

In addition to the abundance of nearby restaurants (which we will talk about shortly!) there is a restaurant onsite that is worth the visit. The onsite restaurant Lola, is one of Tom Douglas’ creations. He has previously won the James Beard Award for “Best Northwest Chef.” He has opened many restaurants including Serious Pie Downtown, Seatown Rub Shack & FishFry, Dahlia Bakery, The Carlile Room, and Lola. Lola features the classic produce of the Pacific Northwest mingled with cooking styles of Greece; the menu offers modern Mediterranean and North African riffs on local ingredients such as Anderson Valley lamb, Penn Cove shellfish and wild King salmon. You can check out their full menu here.

My girlfriends and I shared the fresh made to order doughnuts to start. Served with vanilla mascarpone and homemade jam made from Dahlia Bakery. Then I ordered the smoked salmon scramble. You can’t go to Seattle and not enjoy freshly caught salmon – so fresh! Everything was truly delicious. Mimosas helped me wash it all down, and breakfast at Lola was a great way to relax before our room was ready to check in.
