Review: Rimping Village Hotel

Review: Rimping Village Hotel

Thinking of staying in Chiang Mai for a few nights? I stayed at a boutique property called Rimping Village Hotel and here’s what I have to say about it!

Location

The location is so unbelievably perfect. The hotel is only about 20 minutes from the CNX airport. While it’s only a short walk to the night bazaar and lively atmosphere, it’s tucked away in this quiet neighborhood so you feel like you’re a world away. Food

I can only speak to the breakfast each morning, as I didn’t take advantage of any other meals here. The breakfast buffet at Rimping Village Hotel was delicious and offered many filling items that keep you going for your day-long tours. It was especially helpful on my hike up Doi Inthanon National Park (highest point in Thailand!).

Service

There was a little issue at check-in. We needed 2 beds and all they had was 1 double bed in a room. They were able to come up with a great solution that ended up getting us what we needed at no extra cost. The welcome drinks (apple juice) and cool towels were a nice touch after being in the heat for a bit. Staff is incredibly helpful and always going the extra mile. Need a massage? No problem. They’ll call the massage parlor on your behalf for pick up. I went to Health Lanna Spa nearby and transportation was included. It was so relaxing!

Grounds and Amenities

The grounds at Rimping Village Hotel are beautifully landscaped. Every day there was someone outside tending to the trees and flowers. The pool always had guests in it and looked like a great time. I was too busy exploring the area to get a chance to dip in.

Room

The room was very relaxing with white bed sheets and bamboo curtains. Right outside of the room was a hanging rack for your to dry your wet clothes outside. It also appears they have some sort of bug repellant outside each door as well. There were a few bugs that I shared a shower with in the mornings but that’s of no fault of the hotel. Just has to do with the lush tree-lined area that it’s located in. I had room 113, which luckily was located on the 1st floor. No stairs to climb đŸ™‚

Bathroom

Bathroom was nice. Water pressure was great, trial-size products were thoughtful and smelled nice. Like I said previously, there were a few small visitors in the shower with me but for the most part,

Overall, a pleasant stay and I highly recommend. Here is their website and do reach out to me if you have any questions: cassandra@accent-on-travel.net.
